The Salt Free Water Softener Experiment

Well, not too much to report in on today, things are pretty much status quo from last time I wrote.  So I thought I'd write a post about Tony's grape jelly.  Just to keep things interesting.  We grow grapes in our backyard and every year around this time Tony harvests them and makes amazing grape jelly.

How is this related you might ask?  Well, its partially just rambling because I'm too sleepy to take some nice toilet photos and a flow measurement on the shower, but its mostly because Tony mentioned that he didn't see the same white ring around the top of the jars that he did in other years making the jelly which is an interesting salt free softener related finding.
